BREAKING: The Bridge Club celebrated a successful Christmas Party on December 3, 2023, with a thrilling competition that featured accurate computer scoring for the first time this year. This milestone brought joy to the twelve players as they gathered to enjoy friendly competition and festive cheer.

In a remarkable display of skill, Jan and John clinched victory with an impressive score of 61%, followed closely by Bonnie and Max at 58.7%. Wendy and Sue secured third place with a score of 48.6%. The event was not just about winning; it fostered a sense of community and celebration among all participants.

After the games, players and their loved ones gathered at the Bowling Club for a delightful meal, marking a perfect end to the festive day.

The excitement continued on Tuesday afternoon when Lorraine and Dick, alongside Bonnie and Max, tied for first place. However, the group did not have enough players for the computer to score effectively, highlighting the need for more participants in future games.

Wednesday night brought more action as players vied for individual scores. Max emerged victorious with an outstanding 2,660 points, followed by Jan with 2,410 points and Jennifer with 1,270 points. The competition showcased the players’ dedication and passion for the game, even though computer scoring was not implemented due to lower participation.

The spirit of competition and camaraderie at the Bridge Club sets an inspiring tone for the community, reminding everyone of the joy that comes from playing together. As we look ahead, all eyes are on the next gathering, promising more thrilling games and community bonding.
