UPDATE: A spectacular Halloween display is set to draw crowds in Brookfield, with local resident Jackie Licitra inviting the community to enjoy her festive decorations while supporting a charitable cause. The display, located at 16 Campbell Court, will open to visitors on 31 October from 4:00 PM onwards, featuring an inflatable walk-through maze and a chance to collect Halloween treats.
Licitra’s passion for Halloween began during a trip to the United States, where she discovered elaborate decorations. She has since imported her favorites to create a unique experience for children. “As much as I love it, I actually do it for the kids. I work in the disability field with children with special needs, and I see a lack of things for children to do and feel safe these days,” she said.
In a heartfelt effort to spread joy, visitors are encouraged to bring a gold coin donation on Halloween night, with all proceeds going to Our Haven Wildlife Shelter. The display will remain up throughout the week following Halloween, providing a low-stimulation environment for children with sensory processing needs to enjoy.
With Halloween just around the corner, Brookfield is gearing up for a night of fun and philanthropy. Don’t miss this opportunity to contribute to a great cause while enjoying a vibrant community event.
Stay tuned for updates, and make sure to mark your calendars for a night of spooky excitement!
