With no known cure, individuals like Samuel (Sammy) Ritchie, a young attendee diagnosed with NF2 earlier this year, experience a lifetime of uncertainty and health risks such as blindness and learning difficulties.
Today, educators and children at the centre are dressed in green and blue to stand in solidarity with Sammy and to raise awareness of NF2. The community is urged to participate and contribute to the cause, supporting the Children’s Tumour Foundation Australia (CTF), the only dedicated organization for those impacted by Neurofibromatosis in Australia.
