Fool Nelson have just released their new EP Bad Dreams.

UPDATE: Busselton’s indie rock sensation, Fool Nelson, is generating buzz with their electrifying Bad Dreams EP tour, currently dazzling crowds in Perth before heading to Queensland. The band is experiencing a surge of popularity, with multiple shows selling out rapidly, including their recent all-ages performance at The Y HQ, which vanished in under 48 hours.

Vocalist Tom Broadbent described the Bad Dreams EP as a reflection of their journey through early adulthood, stating, “It’s five songs written over the period of the last year or so and to sum it up, it’s about us navigating early adulthood… the different anxieties and stuff that come along with that.” As the band continues to gain momentum, they’re capturing audiences with their unique blend of anthemic hooks and honest emotion, coupled with a distinct coastal vibe.

The excitement surrounding Fool Nelson is palpable, following their recognition from Triple J as a band to watch. They made history by winning the Unearthed Competition twice, securing a spot on the coveted One Night Stand line-up in their hometown of Busselton earlier this year. Additionally, they have graced stages at major festivals including Groovin’ the Moo, NYE on the Hill, HYPER FEST, and the Tone City Records Festival.

Broadbent hinted at the possibility of a return to their roots, teasing fans with, “We will be playing down south over summer at some point.” With the Bad Dreams EP now streaming on all major platforms, it’s an exhilarating time for Fool Nelson as they continue to make waves in the music scene.

As they prepare for the next leg of their tour, fans are eager to catch them live. Stay tuned for more updates on their journey, as Fool Nelson solidifies their place in the indie rock landscape.
