UPDATE: The highly anticipated Kids Art Bash has officially commenced at the Anglesea Art House and will run daily until January 23. This year marks the 27th anniversary of the beloved community event, drawing local children eager to explore their creativity through a variety of hands-on art projects.
The program invites kids of all ages to engage in artistic activities, including painting on canvas, t-shirts, and wooden shapes, as well as crafting ceramic art, mosaics, and air-dry clay models. Notably, children can also create dreamcatchers, jellyfish, and spiders, ensuring a vibrant and imaginative atmosphere.
Families can easily participate, as no prior bookings are required. Drop-in session fees range from $3 to $25, making it accessible for everyone. Additionally, “art to go” activity bags are available for families who prefer to create at home.
Jennifer O’Sullivan, president of Anglesea Art House, expressed her excitement, stating, “It’s come around really quickly, but we are excited for the fun times ahead. It continues to be a great community event and a major fundraiser for Anglesea Art House. To be closing in on 30 years of running it makes us very proud. We can’t wait to see all the children and the big smiles on their faces.”
Parents are reminded that children must be accompanied by an adult or carer during the event. The Kids Art Bash operates daily from 10 AM to 4 PM, providing ample opportunity for young artists to participate in this enriching experience.
