URGENT UPDATE: Kyneton Library is calling all budding artists to create their very own mini masterpieces for the highly anticipated Tiny Art Show. Submissions are now open, allowing artists aged 5 to 105 to showcase their creativity on a small canvas.
Artists can pick up their free mini canvases at the Kyneton Library during opening hours, but be quick—only one canvas is allowed per person. All art pieces must be returned by Friday, October 3, to ensure they are included in the exhibition, which runs from Monday, October 20, to Friday, October 28.
The public will have the exciting opportunity to vote for their favorite tiny creations, with prizes awarded across several age categories: 5-12 years, 13-17 years, and 18 years and older. Jess Saunders, the Goldfields Libraries Manager of Engagement and Operations, stresses the importance of this event, stating, “This is a free opportunity to explore your creative side, be playful, and have a bit of fun.”
The Tiny Art Show has already enjoyed phenomenal success across libraries in the Macedon Ranges, and now it’s Kyneton’s turn to shine. “It doesn’t matter what your skill level is—everyone is encouraged to take a canvas and see where it leads,” Saunders added. This initiative provides a fantastic way for community members to express themselves artistically and connect with their peers.
Don’t miss your chance to participate in this engaging community event. Gather your smallest paintbrush and unleash your creativity before the October 3 deadline. The Kyneton Library is ready to display the artistic talents of its local community—will you be part of it? Share your tiny masterpieces and join in the fun!
