URGENT UPDATE: Support for the Labor Party has surged as the Coalition faces a significant decline, according to the latest Newspoll results. This critical survey, released by The Australian, reveals that Labor’s primary vote has increased by 1.4 percentage points since the May election, reaching 36%, while the Coalition has tumbled from 31.8% to just 29%.
This dramatic shift marks the Coalition’s lowest primary vote in a Newspoll since November 1985. The combined primary vote for Labor and the Coalition stands at 65%, the lowest recorded in Newspoll history.
