UPDATE: Just celebrated, Melissa Powell marks a significant milestone of 15 years of dedicated service at the Condobolin Preschool and Childcare Centre. On Friday, July 21, 2023, she completed an astonishing 780 weeks, equivalent to 5,475 days or 131,040 hours nurturing the next generation.
The facility hosted a special morning tea on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, to honor Melissa’s incredible commitment. Staff and children savored a celebratory cake, beautifully crafted by Hayley Ireland, which added a sweet touch to the festivities.
Reflecting on her journey, Melissa expressed her emotions, stating, “It’s a little bit overwhelming to think that I have worked in the one place for this long. I work with so many amazing staff, and all of the children are just beautiful. Preschool is just a wonderful place to work.”
Her contributions spanned across various rooms, including the Koala, Wombat, Emu, Bilby, and Possum Rooms, demonstrating her versatility and dedication to early childhood education.
