Among those taking the pledge was Sri Lanka-born Nadeeka Parana Manage, who expressed her deep gratitude for the opportunity. After living in Australia for 13 years, Nadeeka, alongside her husband Rasangeeth and their daughter Hazel, felt a profound sense of belonging. “This is such a beautiful country. Our new citizens bring a wealth of skills and cultures to our community,” he added, showcasing the city’s commitment to embracing diversity.
