Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. has chosen to implement IPfolio, a sophisticated intellectual property management software developed by Clarivate Plc, to streamline its intellectual property (IP) operations. This decision, announced on December 18, 2025, marks a significant step for Nissan in enhancing its IP management capabilities to better protect and manage its innovations.

By adopting IPfolio, Nissan aims to leverage advanced workflow automation technology and leading data analytics to improve the efficiency of its IP processes. David Curren, Deputy General Manager of the Intellectual Property Department at Nissan, highlighted the importance of this initiative.
