The choice, made last minute against her brother’s initial plan, has resulted in an impressive first win for Omnia after just three career starts. Volstead, once standing at $3,000, now commands a fee of $16,500 due to his recent successes.
Tyson Linke remarked on the challenges faced in preparing Omnia for this pivotal race. “I felt we were about a week or two behind her rivals,” he stated. Despite initial concerns about her fitness, Omnia proved more than capable, leading the race with confidence.
