Judges were particularly impressed by its striking design, which harmonizes artistry with modern innovation.
The evening also celebrated a beautifully restored 1915 heritage-listed bungalow in Peppermint Grove, awarded Renovation and Addition Project of the Year by Humphrey Homes. The renovation preserved original period details, including timber bay windows and pressed tin ceilings, while introducing a dramatic W-shaped extension that floods the home with natural light. The meticulous redesign not only honors the past but also embraces a sophisticated future.
