URGENT UPDATE: The Allora-Clifton Anglican Parish is inviting pets and their owners to a special blessing service this Sunday, October 5, 2025. This unique event celebrates St. Francis, known for his deep connection with animals, and aims to honor the joy and comfort pets bring into our lives.

Services will take place at 8 AM at All Saints’ Church in Clifton and at 10 AM at St. David’s Church in Allora. All are welcome to attend, and the parish encourages participants to bring their animals, ensuring they are leashed or crated for safety.

Rev. Courtney will bless both pets and their pictures for those who may bring a cherished photo of a beloved animal. This thoughtful gesture allows those with unmanageable pets or those remembering passed companions to partake in the blessings.

Join the community this Sunday to follow in the footsteps of St. Francis, embracing his message of love for all God’s creations. The event promises to be a heartwarming experience that brings together pet lovers and their furry friends.

Don’t miss this chance to celebrate the bond between humans and animals in a nurturing environment. It’s an event that highlights the importance of our pets in our lives and provides a moment of reflection and gratitude.

Make sure to mark your calendar and prepare your pet for a special day filled with blessings and community spirit!
