BREAKING: Two police officers were assaulted during a chaotic Halloween party in Byford last night, where approximately 400 individuals gatecrashed the event. Authorities were called to the scene on Linton Street North just after 9:30 PM to respond to reports of a major disturbance.

Additionally, a 21-year-old man from Thornlie was arrested and is facing charges for one count of disorderly behavior, one count of obstructing public officers, and one count of possessing a prohibited drug. He will appear in Perth Magistrates Court later today.
