UPDATE: Q2 Metals Corp. has just announced a groundbreaking discovery at the Cisco Lithium Project in Quebec, Canada, reporting a remarkable 457.4 metres of continuous spodumene pegmatite in drill hole CS25-044. This intercept marks the widest interval documented to date, signaling significant potential for lithium extraction.
The latest drilling campaign, which commenced in mid-June 2025, has resulted in multiple wide intervals of spodumene being identified across the project. Notably, drill hole CS25-038 revealed a total of 22 spodumene pegmatite intervals, including a substantial 58.9-metre segment, while hole CS25-039 reported 13 intervals with a maximum width of 108.5 metres.
Q2 Metals has drilled a total of 46 holes covering 20,138 metres at the Cisco Project, with assays pending for the latest eight holes from the summer campaign. The company is currently operating three drill rigs to focus on infill drilling within the main mineralized zone, aiming to establish an initial inferred Mineral Resource estimate.
Neil McCallum, Vice President of Exploration at Q2 Metals, expressed enthusiasm regarding the results. “Hole 44, with its 457-metre-long intercept, has far exceeded our expectations. The Mineralized Zone remains open at depth and along strike, presenting significant expansion opportunities,” he stated.
Alicia Milne, President and CEO, also highlighted the implications of these findings. “The scale and consistency of the spodumene-bearing pegmatite intercepted to date reinforces the long-term potential of the Cisco Project. With a strong treasury in place, we are well positioned to advance our strategy and unlock the full value of Cisco,” Milne said.
The Cisco Lithium Project, located within the greater Nemaska traditional territory of the Eeyou Istchee James Bay, Quebec, comprises 801 claims across 41,253 hectares. Initial estimates suggest a potential mineralization range of 215 to 329 million tonnes at grades ranging from 1.0 to 1.38% Li2O.
As the drilling program progresses through the fall and winter, Q2 Metals is gearing up for a robust campaign that will further define the Mineralized Zone and better understand its potential. The coming weeks will see rolling assay results, providing critical insights into the project’s viability.
Stay tuned for updates as Q2 Metals continues its exploration efforts, with the eyes of investors and industry experts focused on the promising developments at the Cisco Lithium Project.
