UPDATE: South Morang is gearing up for a magical night as the Whittlesea community prepares for its annual Carols by Candlelight on December 12, 2023. This festive highlight is set to take place from 6pm to 9pm at the Civic Centre Lawns, promising an evening filled with music, lights, and holiday spirit.

Families are expected to flock to this beloved event, with hundreds of attendees joining together for an unforgettable night of celebration. The festivities will kick off with an energetic performance by Team Dream, guaranteed to entertain both children and parents alike.

Following the opening act, more than 70 singers and musicians from the region will grace the stage, featuring the Community Carols Choir and the Diamond Valley Brass Band. They will perform a delightful selection of classic Christmas tunes that are sure to evoke holiday cheer.

The evening’s headliner, Glenn Starr, will bring the night to a close with a set filled with festive favorites, delivering smooth vocals that warm the heart. This is a performance you won’t want to miss!

Families can also enjoy a variety of free activities throughout the evening, including face-painting, craft workshops, and roving entertainment. The highlight for many will be the special appearance of Santa Claus, scheduled to arrive at 8pm, adding to the excitement for children and families.
