URGENT UPDATE: Buda is set to welcome a brand-new entertainment hub, Tap In, scheduled to open in November 2026. This exciting venue, featuring 7,000 square feet of indoor mini golf, golf simulators, and a lively sports bar, aims to become the go-to hangout for residents of the Sunfield area.
Located at 2260 Main St., Bldg 7, as part of the Corner on Main development, Tap In promises a unique blend of indoor activities and outdoor fun. Founder Robert Wible expressed, “The idea here was to bring something great to the Buda area,” emphasizing the need for local entertainment options that keep families engaged without the long drive to Austin.
Tap In will feature a sports bar serving popular foods such as pizza and wings, alongside a food truck and a patio designed for live music. With spaces dedicated to mini golf and a vibrant bar atmosphere, this venue is tailored for both adults and children, ensuring a welcoming environment year-round, regardless of the weather.
Wible’s vision for Tap In emerged from his fundraising experiences and insights gained from successful entertainment venues. “It’s more than just a minigolf round; it’s a place to hang out,” he stated, highlighting that the venue will foster community connections. The design, crafted by CoXist Studio, known for its stunning residential and restaurant projects, promises to elevate the local landscape.
Residents are encouraged to stay updated on Tap In’s progress by following @tapin_buda on Instagram. “We’re excited to open our doors and serve the people of Sunfield and Buda,” Wible added, reflecting the enthusiasm surrounding this long-awaited project.
As the countdown begins to the grand opening, Tap In is poised to redefine the recreational scene in Buda, making it a vital social hub for families and friends alike. This development signifies a promising shift towards enhancing local entertainment, making it an exciting topic for future discussions.
