
UPDATE: Authorities have just announced the arrest of two individuals in connection with a significant burglary in Bundoora, with the operation unfolding on October 10. A 41-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman were taken into custody following a police search warrant executed at a residence on Dandenong Road in Caulfield North.
This urgent development comes after a string of vehicle thefts, including a Ford Mustang reportedly stolen from Fifer Rise in Bundoora on July 27, and a Toyota Hilux taken from Flinders Lane in Melbourne on August 19. During the search, police seized multiple items, including the stolen vehicles, a Harley Davidson motorcycle with cloned plates, a firearm, and significant quantities of controlled substances, including methylamphetamine, cocaine, and 1,4-butanediol.
Both suspects face serious charges including prohibited possession of a firearm, trafficking of methylamphetamine, two counts of motor vehicle theft, and disqualified driving. They have been granted bail and are set to appear at Moorabbin Magistrates’ Court on December 12.
