A dentist in Port Hedland has been charged with allegedly indecently assaulting his female staff members.

UPDATE: Broome police are urgently seeking public assistance following a disturbing series of burglaries that occurred over the weekend. Authorities are calling on residents to review their CCTV and doorbell camera footage from the night of October 19 to early October 20, 2023.

The incidents took place between 11:30 PM on Saturday and 2:00 AM on Sunday, primarily affecting neighborhoods in Roebuck Estate and Sunset Park. Police report that a group of five juveniles was seen wandering the streets, entering unlocked vehicles and stealing valuables. Notably, they also stole a Toyota Prado from Goshawk Loop.

Authorities are specifically urging residents on Planigale Loop, Sandpiper Avenue, Sanderling Drive, and Goshawk Loop in Roebuck Estate, as well as Challenor Drive, Paroo Place, Sanctuary Road, Oryx Road, and Millington Road in Sunset Park, to check their surveillance footage from the incident timeframe. Any footage that can assist in identifying the suspects should be forwarded to local police immediately.

This wave of thefts highlights an urgent need for residents to ensure their homes and vehicles are secured. Police are recommending that everyone locks their doors and windows and secures their valuables to deter potential thieves.
