UPDATE: A tragic motorbike accident on the Gold Coast has claimed the life of 38-year-old photographer Nadia Shevtsova. The incident occurred at approximately 8:15 PM on Ashmore Rd in Bundall, when three motorcyclists collided during a ride.

Authorities report that despite urgent medical efforts, Nadia succumbed to her injuries at the scene. Her husband, Vitalii Brokhof, expressed deep gratitude to emergency services, stating, “The emergency services, first responders, and the people who stopped to help… your actions, and your humanity, mean more than I can ever put into words.”

Nadia, a mother-of-three from Browns Plains, was known for her vibrant photography business. Vitalii shared a heartfelt message with her supporters, noting that there would be “no new videos, posts, or photos” as “her chapter on Earth has come to an end.” He reminisced, “Thank you for being my wife for 16 years and four months… I love you so much, and I will love you forever.”

Witnesses at the scene, including a woman who comforted Nadia in her final moments, reached out to Vitalii, assuring him she was not alone. “We held her hand and comforted her until we couldn’t anymore,” she wrote.

In a separate incident on Saturday, another rider, a 27-year-old man from Cannon Hill, tragically lost his life after colliding with a car around 12:30 PM. Additionally, a 19-year-old man from Buderim is currently hospitalized with life-threatening injuries following a motorcycle crash in Maroochydore.

Authorities are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding all three accidents. The community is mourning the loss of Nadia, whose passion for photography touched many lives.
