UPDATE: A tragic incident unfolded at Palm Beach in Sydney today as a boat capsized, resulting in the death of a man and leaving a 14-year-old boy missing. Emergency crews were dispatched after reports of the capsizing around 11:35 AM on New Year’s Eve.

Authorities confirm that a man was pulled from the waters by Surf Life Saving members but sadly died at the scene. His identity has not yet been disclosed. As onlookers gathered along the beach, a multi-agency search operation was immediately initiated to locate the missing teenager.
