
UPDATE: The Windsor Wolves Junior Rugby League Club has achieved a remarkable milestone, dominating the 2025 season with four teams crowned champions at the Panthers Juniors Grand Finals held at Windsor Leagues Club Sports Complex on September 13-14.
Thousands of fans flocked to witness two exhilarating days of rugby league as 11 Wolves teams competed for glory. The victorious teams include the Under 13/2, Under 17/1 Tier B, Under 19s Division 1, and the Open Men’s Reserve Grade. One of these squads further showcased their prowess by triumphing in the prestigious Battle of the West a week later, defeating Parramatta’s top junior side.
This unprecedented success underscores the Wolves’ strong community culture, which is just as vital as their on-field achievements. With an impressive 81% player retention rate, exceeding the NSWRL national average by six percent, the club has built a family-first environment that caters to players of all ages.
In 2025, the Windsor Wolves fielded a total of 52 teams and 818 players, including 96 females, demonstrating the growing strength and popularity of girls’ rugby league. Now recognized as the third-largest junior club in the Penrith competition, the Windsor Wolves continue to assert themselves as a powerhouse in western Sydney’s rugby league landscape.
