
UPDATE: A woman’s arm has been severed in a horrific two-car collision in Cranbourne, Melbourne, which left six individuals injured. The crash occurred on Camms Rd at approximately 8:40 PM on Tuesday, prompting an urgent response from emergency services.
Emergency crews arrived swiftly, including three Specialist Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance teams and three Advanced Life Support units, to assist the victims. A police spokesman confirmed that a Ford Falcon collided with a Toyota Corolla, causing significant injuries.
Among the injured, three individuals are in critical condition. A woman in her 30s sustained severe upper body injuries, while a woman in her 50s suffered serious lower body injuries. Both were rushed to Alfred Hospital for immediate medical attention.
A schoolgirl was also critically injured and transported to the Royal Children’s Hospital with lower body injuries. Additionally, a boy, who sustained lower limb injuries, is reported to be in stable condition. Meanwhile, a man and woman in their 20s were taken to Dandenong Hospital with minor injuries.
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. Eyewitnesses reported the scene as chaotic, with multiple ambulances and police vehicles present.
