URGENT UPDATE: Students from Sapphire Anglican College celebrated their Year 10 graduation in grand style on December 15, 2023, at the Tathra Surf Life Saving Club. The event featured stunning fashion and a festive atmosphere that highlighted their achievements and future aspirations.
Glimmering dresses, sharp suits, and a vibrant fluoro-pink stretch Humvee made this celebration unforgettable. The venue was transformed with elegant white drapes, twinkling fairy lights, and beautiful floral centerpieces, creating a magical setting for students and their families.
The festivities began with a lavish charcuterie table and refreshing drinks, keeping guests satisfied until mouth-watering wood-fired pizzas from Sapphire Coast Eats were served. Dinner entertainment included a lively cha-cha performance by the students, who showcased their dance skills, despite a few missteps, all in good spirits.
During the evening, several students were recognized for their future endeavors. A select few will pursue apprenticeships, traineeships, and TAFE courses, while others are setting their sights on professional sports. Notably, two ambitious students are relocating to Canberra to chase their dreams of professional soccer representation and complete their high school education.
The event not only marked the end of their current academic journey but also served as an emotional milestone for families and friends, celebrating the bright futures that lie ahead.
