Owners Daniela Moreira and Andrew Dana announced the exciting development in a social media video, highlighting the personal connection Dana has to the city.
Dana, whose mother is originally from Mount Airy in Northwest Philadelphia, expressed his enthusiasm for the opening. “We’re going to open in the city of Brotherly Love! Where my mom is from. Coming to Philadelphia,” he said, celebrating the full-circle moment. The post also included a shoutout to basketball legend Allen Iverson, adding a local flair to their announcement.
Since its inception at farmers markets in Washington, D.C., Call Your Mother has expanded significantly.
