Good Company Burgers is poised to make a significant impact on the burger landscape in the Valley with its upcoming opening at AREA15. Scheduled for launch in mid-2026, this new burger concept will be located at 3215 S. Rancho Drive, joining a lineup of restaurants that includes Cosmic Pretzel, Chilangos Tacos, and Saint Honoré Doughnuts & Beignets.
The driving force behind Good Company Burgers is acclaimed Chef Sam Marvin, known for his highly regarded restaurant Echo & Rig, which was named the #1 “Best Steakhouse in Las Vegas” in 2025. Chef Marvin emphasizes the connection between steakhouses and quality burgers. “Steakhouses make the best burgers for ourselves and for our customers,” he shared in a conversation with What Now Las Vegas. “So, the opportunity arose to do a burger concept, so I created one.”
Innovative Approach to Burger Crafting
Good Company Burgers aims to redefine the burger experience with offerings that include milkshakes, beer, house-made fries, and wagyu smash burgers. Chef Marvin describes their unique burger approach as a “subtle smash burger,” asserting that quality is their priority. “We’re called Good Company Burgers because everything we’re doing is really good,” he stated.
The restaurant plans to stand out by using pure Wagyu patties sourced directly from known ranches. Chef Marvin commented on the current state of wagyu in the market: “Nowadays, wagyu patties are sort of like hot dogs. You have no idea where it’s coming from.” He emphasizes that their patties consist of full muscle grind, differentiating them from the mixed scraps commonly found elsewhere.
These premium wagyu burgers will be served on brioche potato buns, topped with new American cheese. The fries will be freshly cut and cooked in beef tallow, reinforcing the commitment to scratch-made offerings. “Everything’s from scratch; nothing’s coming out of a bag or freezer,” Chef Marvin added.
A Strategic Location in a Thriving Venue
The emergence of Good Company Burgers comes at a time when AREA15 is expanding its attractions and dining options. Described as the “world’s leading immersive entertainment destination,” AREA15 is attracting millions, with projections of 3.1 million visitors anticipated this year, particularly due to the presence of Universal Horror Unleashed. Chef Marvin highlighted the venue’s success, noting that it attracted 3.5 million visitors last year prior to its expansion, making it an ideal location for the new burger establishment.
The second phase of AREA15’s development will also feature Fuku, a popular Korean-inspired burger eatery. This expansion reflects a broader trend of enhancing the culinary landscape in Las Vegas, promising to draw both locals and tourists alike.
Chef Marvin believes that while there are numerous burger options throughout Las Vegas, Good Company Burgers will shine with its classic American cheeseburger. “There are a lot of great burgers in Vegas; they’re just different,” he noted, pointing out the diverse influences found in the city’s burger offerings. “So, it’s tough to say the best burger, but in our classic American cheeseburger that we’re going to do, it’s going to be the best classic American cheeseburger in Vegas.”
As Good Company Burgers prepares for its debut, it brings with it a commitment to quality and innovation, aiming to set new standards in the Valley’s competitive burger scene.
