Tacos 1986 is set to bring its celebrated Tijuana-style tacos to The Resort at Summerlin in Las Vegas. The opening, anticipated in March 2026, will also feature another popular quick-service brand, For The Win, at The Neighborhood Food Hall located at 221 North Rampart Boulevard.

Founded in Los Angeles, Tacos 1986 has earned a strong reputation since its inception in 2018. The establishment has garnered attention for its fresh tortillas and flavorful abobada, originally served from taco carts throughout Hollywood. Founder and owner, Victor Delgado, expressed excitement about the expansion, stating, “Tacos 1986 was born on the streets of Los Angeles with a simple goal – to honor the Tijuana-style taco and do it right.”

Delgado highlighted that this new venture marks a significant milestone for the brand, as it connects two vibrant food cities through a mutual appreciation for bold flavors. Although inquiries from What Now Las Vegas regarding additional details about the opening went unanswered at the time of publication, the anticipation surrounding this launch is palpable.

The Vice President and General Manager of The Resort at Summerlin, Michelle McHugh, emphasized the importance of introducing Tacos 1986 and For The Win to the Summerlin area. She stated, “Introducing two of Los Angeles’ most celebrated quick-serve concepts to Summerlin reflects our commitment to redefining the culinary landscape at The Resort at Summerlin.”

McHugh added that both brands encapsulate the creativity and energy of Los Angeles’ food scene, aligning perfectly with the vision for The Neighborhood Food Hall. This collaboration aims to create a unique dining experience for locals and visitors alike, showcasing the best of L.A. cuisine in Las Vegas.

As Tacos 1986 prepares for its opening, the excitement builds not only for the signature taco offerings but also for the opportunity to experience a slice of Los Angeles culture in the heart of Nevada. The partnership between Tacos 1986 and The Resort at Summerlin is poised to enhance the culinary diversity of the area and attract food enthusiasts eager to savor these celebrated flavors.
