Oregon-based coffee chain Black Rock Coffee Bar is set to broaden its presence in Southern California with a new location in Murrieta. The company has officially signed a lease for a property situated at 39400 Murrieta Hot Springs Road within the Margarita Square plaza. This new outlet, covering 1,800 square feet, will feature a drive-thru, adding convenience for customers in the area.
Margarita Square already hosts a variety of businesses, including EōS Fitness, Goodwill, Massage Envy, Jack in the Box, and Chemron. The addition of Black Rock Coffee Bar marks a significant milestone as it represents the brand’s first foray into this part of California.
Founded in 2008, Black Rock Coffee Bar has rapidly grown into a national chain, primarily operating in Arizona, Texas, and its home state of Oregon. The business also maintains several stores in Washington, Idaho, Colorado, and a handful in the San Diego area. This expansion highlights the brand’s strategy to tap into new markets and cater to a broader customer base.
The coffee shop is well-known for its signature beverages, which include popular items such as the Blackout, Caramel Blondie, and Fuel Energy drinks. In addition to coffee, the menu features lattes, teas, smoothies, and seasonal specialties. Many locations also serve light breakfast options and pastries, providing customers with a full café experience.
As Black Rock Coffee Bar rolls out its plans for the Murrieta location, it aims to attract both local residents and visitors seeking quality coffee and a welcoming atmosphere. The opening date has yet to be announced, but the anticipation is already building among coffee enthusiasts in the area.
This expansion reflects a growing trend among coffee chains to establish a foothold in competitive markets, particularly in California where the coffee culture is robust. With its unique offerings and commitment to quality, Black Rock Coffee Bar is poised to make a significant impact in the Murrieta community.
